Job Title: Java Mentor (Part-Time, Remote)

• About the Role:
  Infotek Services is seeking a passionate and skilled Java Mentor to support students in solving problems and building projects related to web development with Java and Spring Boot. This role is ideal for professionals with strong back-end web development expertise, some front-end experience, and a well-rounded understanding of modern software development practices.

• Key Responsibilities:

1. Mentor and guide students in solving problems and building projects related to web development using Java and Spring Boot.
2. Provide support and guidance in API development and feature creation using Java and Spring Boot.
3. Assist students with database connections and executing queries using JDBC or similar technologies.
4. Provide clear and effective explanations of concepts, ensuring students understand the material and can apply it to practical scenarios.
5. Support students in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving issues in back-end and front-end development.
6. Dedicate 2 to 3 hours per day, 3 days per week to mentoring sessions.
7. Communicate effectively in English to ensure clear and productive mentoring.

• Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

1. Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot for back-end web development, with hands-on experience in API and feature development.
2. Experience in database connections and executing queries using JDBC or similar stacks.
3. Some experience with front-end development to assist students with full-stack projects.
4. Familiarity with AWS or similar cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and Git for version control.
5. Working knowledge of Unix/Linux systems for development and deployment tasks.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
7. Prior teaching, mentoring, or tutoring experience is a plus.
8. Proficient in English (spoken and written) for effective communication.
9. Reliable internet connection and availability to work during the scheduled hours.
